Police charged a man with supplying ecstasy and cannabis after searching a car in Harrington Park on Monday night.

Police stopped a Volkswagen sedan in Pearson Crescent just before 10.30pm as part of patrols of new building sites in the suburb.

Police said a bag which they found under the passenger seat contained 10 ecstasy tablets, 54.8 grams of cannabis, a set of scales and $240.

Several resealable plastic bags were found in the car.

A Harrington Park man, 24, has been granted bail and will face Camden Local Court next month charged with two counts of drug supply, two counts of drug possession and one count of possessing cash suspected of being unlawfully obtained.
